While watching Not Another Teen Movie on DVD last night, I was struck again by how familiar sounding the big musical number parody "Prom Tonight" was. I knew it was a pastiche, but the style just sounded really familiar -- like something Ben Folds would compose if he was rewriting GREASE. And what do you know, turns out Ben Folds co-wrote the song with the film's writers.
