My New Apartment: Before

June 24, 2000.

My apartment was finally cleaned and turned over to me. I still can't move in until August, because the water is turned off to the building while 80 of the bathrooms in the hall are replaced -- and my apartment is right in the middle of the construction area. But I am starting to move the furniture around and bring over boxes of stuff from my temporary summer apartment.

I took these photos with the handy, crappy Jam Cam 2 so my folks could see what my apartment looks like.

This is the living room.

This is the random little room that used to be the bedroom (but the new full sized bed won't fit in it, so they annexed the next dorm room to be the new bedroom.) I have to walk through it to reach the bathroom. I think I'm going to use this room as a small library.

This is the bedroom. It's past the little hallway that serves as my kitchen.

This is the kitchen. It's supposed to be replaced sometime soon.
